Since 2011, the annual D4C event aims to gather a group of BMW enthusiasts from the region for a driving and social event weekend. Participants join from all over the US, bonding over more than just cars. The goal is to gather BMW enthusiasts together to relate over a scenic driving adventure and build a community of a driving centric adventure, this years event will be centered in Durango, CO during the second weekend in August 2026.
Excited to announce the dates for D4C 2026! The event will be taking place in Durango, CO August 7-9, 2026.
Caravans from AZ, NM, TX, and CO will plan to arrive in Durango on Friday Aug. 7th, where we will converge as a group for an evening meal and conversation among enthusiasts. A group rate has been negotiated at the Fairfield of Durango, but you are welcome to stay wherever you prefer and can re-connect with the larger group for any combination of activities throughout the weekend.
This years event will be more mindful of the evening meal timing, to more adequately allow drivers time to safely join in the festivities, and not rush their selected drive from the day. Dinner will be provided from a local restaurant, and of course includes prizes and giveaways!
Sunday participants can depart at any point should they be returning to their homes, but for those staying in town and interested, a number of participants will meet at a restaurant in Durango for dinner/drinks/dessert around 5:30pm.
For the event, there will be a $100 per person fee, that will cover Friday dinner, Saturday dinner, a customized event shirt, and giveaways.
Hotel accommodations, travel plans and food for the weekend are covered by participants.
